Another Saturday, but this one I get to spend at home for the first time in a long time. Today is the day for our street’s annual Spring block party since all the cherry blossoms on the street are in full bloom. There is no rain in the forecast, but it certainly is chilly, even for April.
As has become somewhat of a norm on a Saturday morning, I do not have any “new” content, but I do have a several announcements.
#1: Monthly Wine Writing Challenge 16 (#MWWC16): It is time to vote for the latest challenge which you can do HERE. Voting closes on Monday, so be sure to read all the entries (which you can find HERE) and vote for your favorite.
#2: Wine Dinner at Fare. This month, the theme will be Loire Valley Varieties (Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc), which will be paired with five courses (including dessert), all for $75 (including tax and tip). The dinner is being held on Wednesday, April 29th at 7:00 and there are still a few spots left. If you are interested, leave me a message on my Facebook page (FB Page) or send me an email (below).
#3: Bike Ride. Even though it is going to struggle to get to 60 degrees today, I am off for a bike ride. If you see me out there, please don’t honk–cyclists hate that, since it scares the bejesus out of us. Also, don’t run me over. Cyclists hate that even more.

Cheers!
What a beautiful street you are on.
