A couple of months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my four year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian had to go back to the hospital again Thursday. The break was not properly aligned in the cast so we needed to go back in to surgery. This was of course not great news, but the kid is still Sebastian:
The anesthesiologist placed the mask on his face (in order to put him under) and asked him to count to ten.
Sebastian nodded and then closed his eyes.
A moment later, he opened his eyes and said “Done!”
After the anesthesiologist stopped laughing, she tried again:
Smart kid. Funny story.

I agree – smart kid, funny story, and I hope he recovers quickly and is amusing you with his biking adventures stories from outside soon (with cast on his arm, of course)!

He is already ready to have it taken off. Won’t be surprised if he tries to take it off himself one of these days….

Proof that none of life’s bumps are going to knock the wind out of him for more than a second or two. What a pip!
