Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
In the car, we often play “Name the Artist.” I give the boys three choices, and they guess. Today, “Ventura Highway” came on.
Me: “Is it Europe, America, or Asia.”
Sebastian: ‘”Slurp it.”
Me: “You mean ‘Europe’?”
Seb: “Yup, that’s what I said.”
Nathan: “Asia?”
Me: “The answer is ‘America'”
Seba: “Yes!”
Nathan: “You got it wrong.”
Seba: “No I didn’t, I changed my answer.”
Nathan: “When?!?”
Attributed to Keynes, the remark, “When I find new information I change my mind.” (or variations on the position). Perhaps you have a young economist in the making. 🙂
