Sundays Are For Sebastian—#43

Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

There are few things in this world that Sebastian likes more than eating. Above all else, he loves eating dessert, which he inquires about incessantly.

Me: “Sebastian, if you keep asking me about dessert, you are going to end up not getting any.”

Sebastian: “–You mean like a you did before?”

Me: “Yes”

Pause

Sebastian: “–You know I was not happy about that, right?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

I’d be unhappy too! I used to skip dessert all of the time. No more! Life is too short.
