Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian was walking around singing “Ho, Hey” by the Lumineers.
The lyrics of the song:
“I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart.”
Sebastian’s lyrics:
“I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my street ho.”
How can a drunk guy on a bike be boring!? 🙂

Mine think I suck and don’t understand anything. Unfortunately, I can’t respond with, “Fuck you guys…I dropped ‘shrooms in Amsterdam with your aunt Kristi and then dry humped an Australian for eight hours at Oktoberfest the following weekend.”
To them…I’m just the parent makes them listen to 80s new wave and refuses to let them watch anything with violence.

That’s pretty awesome- my kids thought it was “sweet ho”- better a sweet ho than a street ho, no?

Now I was a big fan of the original. A big fan… But I think your boy may have just made it better man.

All the credit goes to my little knucklehead. I just try to remember it all so I can write it down.

LOL, absolutely priceless. I love this song and actually thought it was “…you belong with me in my sweet home!” I’m glad Sebastian shed some light. 😉
