Sundays Are For Sebastian—#84

Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

I was perusing my notes from the last few years, and here is another gem from this time last year:

Driving back from Christmas Village with the boys this afternoon, we pull up to a light where there was a panhandler with a sign.

Sebastian (who STILL can’t read): “What does his sign say Daddy?”

Me: “Vet”

Seba: “Give him some money!”

I gave the guy a dollar.

As we pulled away….

Seba: “Daddy, what’s a Vet?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Now that he knows, he’ll probably tell you to give the next Vet a fiver. 🙂
