Sundays Are For Sebastian #112

Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

A couple of years ago, when Sebastian was four, we were out in Seattle visiting my wife’s sister….

We were getting ready to go on a boat ride around Puget Sound.

Sebastian: “I don’t want to go.”

My wife: “You have to go, we are all going.”

Sebastian: “I don’t want to.”

My wife: “If you don’t come with us, you will have to wait in the car by yourself.”

Pause.

Sebastian: “How long are you going to be?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
