Amazingly, it is not raining here in Philadelphia, so I am in a rush to get out and get a good ride in today. The boys are off at a Tae Kwon Do tournament, so I can ride guilt-free for at least a couple of hours!
Before I go, here are a few reminders:
- The date for my last Sip and Spin has been changed! The powers that be at the gym decided that it would be better to delay the class until June 17th, certainly making it the last time! I have been doing these Spinning class/wine tastings for well over a decade, and this one promises to be the best–I have a great selection of wines from Rodney Strong Vineyards! So if you have never been, and will be in Philly that Friday, give me a shout and I will try to squeeze you in!
- Another “last”: I will be hosting my last Wine Dinner in Philadelphia on June 10th at Fare Restaurant in the Fairmount section of the city. A few details still need to be worked out, but the date is set! The cost will (likely) be the same: $75 ($96 with tax and tip worked in) for five courses, each paired with wine! Hopefully a few of you out there can make it!
- Last (see what I did there?), a couple of weeks ago, I announced the new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC25). The deadline seems like it is a ways off (May 30th), but it will sneak up on us rather quickly. I will actually be in the south of France then, so you could make it easier on me by getting your submissions in early. (I know, but it was worth a try…). This month’s theme is TRAVEL and all of the information can be found HERE.
Have a great Saturday folks!
I should open a bottle of Rodney Strong as I read this. I think I have Pinot in the cooler.
