I am once again on the road this week. Today I am dropping my boys off with my mother in Detroit as I hop on a plane to Oregon, where I will be for the week. As I usually do while I am on the road, I re-blog a Sundays for Sebastian. Today’s comes from a couple of years ago, when Sebastian was five….
Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian came into the bathroom and jumped on the scale.
“I am 55 pounds!”
My wife: “Really? Wow, you are getting really big!”
Seba: “I am going to weigh myself again.”
This time he got on the scale and immediately raised both of his arms as high as he could over his head.
My Wife: “What are you doing?”
Seba: “Cheating.”
My wife: “How are you cheating?”
Sebastian: “I am making myself bigger.”
Sebastian, you should enjoy this phase… I only step on the scale crunching down and low as I can do it… you know, making myself smaller because I heard that small is beautiful… you’d think? 😉
