Monthly Wine Writing Challenge #26–The Results

The results are inIt is that time once again, time to announce the results of this month’s Monthly Wine Writing Challenge. In all this month, there were 14 eligible entries for the theme “Solitude” which was supplied by last month’s winner, Traveling Wine Chick.

Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this month’s Challenge was that half of the entries were new to the Challenge! Hopefully that is a trend that will continue as personally, I think it is great to see our little community grow and reach new audiences.

Not that you asked….

Regardless, without any further ado…

Congratulations to Jim, another multiple winner of the Challenge!

As winner of the Challenge, Jim is now responsible for choosing next month’s theme, which will be perhaps the most important role he will experience in his lifetime.

Or at least this week.

Or maybe not

Regardless, one more time: Congratulations Jim!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
