On this 15th Anniversary of the 9/11 terrorists attacks, I offer a bit of humor to get you through the day:
Today is my last real day in Italy (at least for the time being). Tomorrow I have an insanely early flight (6:30 a.m.) before which I need to check out of the hotel and return the rental car. So today (Sunday) I am going to be doing what I should be doing: going to a winery for a tasting and then having a really big lunch and perhaps an even bigger dinner. Thus, on this last day of the trip, I have a classic SafS for you from last year at this time….
Sebastian is my seven-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian in the tub: “What are these ball thingies?”
My wife: “They’re called testicles.”
Seba: “What are testicles?”
My wife: “Those ball thingies.”
Seba: “What are they for?”
My wife: “It’s a little complicated. Daddy will tell you some day.”
Pause.
Seba: “Did you know they can move?”
That is a cute story! Have a wonderful final day in Italy.

LOL. I know you won’t enjoy the flight back, but safe travels!

The flight back is usually marginally better since I don’t feel like I need to get some sleep!
