Sundays Are For Sebastian #243

Sebastian is my ten-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

My wife recently got a new car and was excited to take the kids to school to show it off a bit. Right when she was about to pull into the car pool line, another car entered in front of her.

It was a Maserati.

A bit deflated, Seba tried to cheer her up.

Sebastian: “It’s OK mommy that’s David’s dad. And David doesn’t play sports.”

My wife: “Oh. Why does that matter?”

Seba: “He doesn’t play sports. So why does he have a sports car?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
