A chilly day here in Houston, which means it is under 60°, and I am pondering a ride. It is a rather big day for couch surfing, though, as my favorite college football team has a big game today and a little thing called the World Series involves a team from here in Houston. Sebastian also has a basketball tournament today, so I will need to figure out how to squeeze everything in. Before I attack my day, here are a couple of reminders for you….
- I will be hosting my Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noirs on November 9th for wine writers here in Houston. If you would like to either attend or have a wine in the tasting, send me an email: jeff (at) thedrunkencyclist (dot) com.
- This is the seventh year for the Secret Wino exchange. Similar to the “Secret Santa” concept where participants send a bottle of wine (or two) to another participant somewhere else in the country, while receiving wine from yet another. If you would like to participate, there is still time to enter. All the details are HERE.
That’s all I have today—have a great and safe Saturday!
