So, I have been delaying the start of this long-considered blog since I had absolutely no frigging clue what I was going to call it.  For a while, I thought I was going to call it “Sip and Spin” since that is the name of my semi-regular Spinning class that is followed by a wine tasting that I organize.  As luck would have it, that was already taken.  I say ‘luck’ for a couple of reasons.  First, I always hated the name.  A lot.  I mean, it is a really stupid * name.  Second, well, that’s the only reason.  So I chose this one.  I am likely going to write mostly about wine, but I reserve the option of writing about cycling, too (usually about riding to another winery).  If you have a better idea for a name, certainly pass it along.  I probably won’t give a honey badger, but it will make you feel like you are having input and it will make me think someone is actually reading this crap.

* I have not decided if I am going to use foul language or not (in fact, I don’t even know if that would be censored or not on this site or not—if you know, let me know!).  My grandparents are all dead, so that is no longer a concern.  I am pretty sure my father does not even have an email address for chrissakes and it is certainly likely I learned most of the words from my mother.  My far too understanding wife will just shake her head in disbelief.  My kids, however, might stumble across it at some point, though, so I hesitate. If I were to decide to curse on this site, I would use “fucking” here.
