Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian, like many young kids, thinks that underwear is hilarious. Perhaps it is partially my fault since I have been repeating a popular saying for years. Recently, Sebastian has been trying to turn the tables on me.
Sebastian: “Daddy, I see London, I see France….” [Pause] “Wait, what do I see again?”
A couple days later:
I enjoy your Sundays…they’ve become part of mine.

I remember that saying! It’s not surprising that France was mentioned along with underwear back in the day, but I agree with Sebastian. We see underwear everywhere in America!

It actually took a bit to get him to go down the hill! Once he did, though, there was no stopping him!

I didn’t know this catch phrase about undies… 🙂 Thanks!

He is so fascinated by underwear, but he just can’t get the phrase down, it’s “I see London, I see France, I see (Sebastian)’s underpants!”

I don’t know if it’s a Scandinavian gene but my daughter more than fascinated by underwear, she would love to live without. Hope she’ll get a bit more reserved by the age of 5! Our boys for the moment have other funny “faults”… nothing linked to undies! 🙂
