Well, it is Wednesday again, and time for the Weekly Wine Quiz. Last week’s Quiz was comprised of a few general wine knowledge questions, which we need to address first.

A. A Medium-sized Red Apple. Just like death and taxes, Anatoli came through with a problem with one of my questions (but he got it right!). Both an average apple and a smallish glass of Chardonnay are right around 100 calories.
3. Of the following vineyards, which is not in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation?
a. Clos Pepe b. Bien Nacido c. Cargasacchi d. Sanford and Benedict
B. Bien Nacido is in the Santa Maria Valley appellation.

D. Davis. I made that one up–it’s not a clone.
Bonus Question: Name the movie and its connection to the wine industry.

- I thought this was going to be far harder than it proved to be. The picture is a clip from the movie Parent Trap, which was filmed at Staglin Family Vineyard in Napa.
Last week’s quiz produced a couple winners: Julian of Vinoinlove, Anatoli of Talk-a-Vino (who also got the bonus) and Damon (who does not have a blog apparently–let me know if that is not the case) who also got the bonus and added that the winery was Staglin. Honorable mention has to go to the Food and Wine Hedonist who actually said that he is a fan of Lindsay Lohan’s body (of work). Congratulations to all!
