I came home from California yesterday and found out that my older son has made the All-Star team for baseball. Considering that he only has had one hit all year, I was a bit surprised, but then I found out that five kids from each team make the All-Star squad. Five kids? How is that an “All-Star” team? That is more of a “Everyone in the pool” than a select representation. Regardless, I am now off to the baseball field again instead of off on a bike ride. Sigh.
