Sundays Are For Sebastian #116

Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Sebastian’s birthday is this week (we are in the throes of his birthday sleepover as I write this) and my birthday was a couple of weeks ago. As such, I thought I would dedicate this post to birthdays in general and to that first birthday card that you wrote all by yourself. A special “shout-out” to all those summer birthdays out there–to those who never knew what it was like to “celebrate” your birthday in school, where it seemed like everybody was king or queen for a day. I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

    absolutely the cutest Bday card EVER! Oh, to be Sebastian’s Mom might be the best thing in the universe… only followed by being his Dad… and brother… 😉
