I am playing solo parent this week and this weekend includes two baseball games, a Halloween fair, a birthday party, and likely something else fairly important that I was not supposed to forget. As I try to figure out what exactly that might be, here are a few reminders:

1. Earlier this week I announced the third annual “Secret Wino”–a take on the Secret Santa theme in which you are randomly assigned a recipient to whom you send a bottle of wine while someone else is doing the same for you. All the details can be found HERE.

2. A few weeks ago Frank of Frankly Wines, last month’s winner, provided the theme for the new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC20). It is now a week closer to the deadline and, in fact, there are a scant 10 days left to get your entry in. Click HERE for all the details.
3. As some of you may recall, I am a Spinning Instructor and once the weather changes to Fall, I start conducting wine tastings following a Friday evening class (the owner of the gym where I teach Spinning classes does not believe that people drink wine in the Summer).
