Well, I made it to Mougins, along the Côte d’Azur in France. I will not tell you how incredibly beautiful the region is since that will likely come off as bragging, and, well, that is just not my style. Let it suffice to say that I enjoyed various rosés last night on a terrace overlooking the town of Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea.
Boom.
Here are a few reminders:
- The date for my last Sip and Spin is June 17th, certainly making it the last time! I have been doing these Spinning class/wine tastings for well over a decade, and this one promises to be the best–I have a great selection of wines from Rodney Strong Vineyards! So if you have never been, and will be in Philly that Friday, give me a shout and I will try to squeeze you in! As of Wednesday there were just a few spots left!

- Another “last”: I will be hosting my last Wine Dinner in Philadelphia on June 10th at Fare Restaurant in the Fairmount section of the city. The theme this go around? Some of my favorite wines that I have “discovered” through this little blog. The cost will (likely) be the same: $75 ($96 with tax and tip worked in) for five courses, each paired with wine! Hopefully a few of you out there can make it!

- Last (see what I did there?), a couple of weeks ago, I announced the new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC25). The deadline is Monday (May 30th), so put those wine boxes down and start writing! As I mentioned, I am in the south of France with a few other things going on, but I plan to get the vote up on schedule! This month’s theme is TRAVEL and all of the information can be found HERE.

Have a great Saturday folks!
