It is time to vote!
The Remaining Timeline:
Voting Begins: Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 (Today!)
Voting Ends: Monday, December 12th, 2016
Winner Announced: Tuesday, December 13th, 2016
I mentioned at this time last month that the weather had “cooled off” here in Houston, “dropping” into the low 80’s, which apparently is Houston’s version of Fall. Well, a scant few weeks later and it is now Winter, evidently, as the temperatures the last few days hovered in the 50’s. It was so “cold” in fact, that the boys had to stay inside for recess. This month, we once again have ten entries into the Challenge (although one is ineligible as it is last month’s winner, Pairs with: Life). I had every intention to enter this month, but, well, the best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley. I was about to make a comment about the importance of voting, but given the current political climate, I will just leave that alone….
Here are this month’s entries:
Appetite for Wine: My Winestory
Armchair Sommelier: At the Corner of Wine and Writing
Dracaena Wines: The Story of Dracaena Wines
The Epicurious Texan: My Winestory
Pairs With: Life: Vive la Difference (ineligible)
Savor the Harvest: How Vitis Vinifera Captured My Heart
Traveling Wine Chick: My ‘Winestory’
Wayward Wine: Her #Winestory Welcome Alexandria
These have all been posted over on mwwcblog.wordpress.com as well, which is where you need to go to vote (you can press on the nifty “Vote” button below to go there):
My favourite thing is pressing on the nifty vote button.

I personally like the word “nifty” and try to use it as often as possible!

Can I just say that I read all the blogs this morning before I started work and I think it was one of the best monthly selections so far. The stories were all personal as opposed to about things (ie bottles and tastes and smells) … one even moved me to tears. It will be difficult to decide who to vote for. We haven’t been great at voting on either side of the Atlantic this year – I don’t want to mess up yet another result. JCx

Yeah, it seems as though the human race might be destined for failure if it has to keep on voting….
