Sundays Are For Sebastian #227

Sebastian is my ten-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

I am coming to grips with the fact that Sundays Are For Sebastian might soon come to an end–our “little Seba” is not so “little” anymore and as he approaches puberty, his utterances are no longer so innocent. As such, I have been perusing the notes I have jotted down over the years, and I found this unpublished comment from back in 2013, when Sebastian was four years old….

I took Sebastian to Toys R Us yesterday since his mother promised him a toy if he would be good when he went to the dentist (he was). He was fully taking advantage of our trip to the toy store, looking over just about every item in the store. After spending 2-3 minutes looking over a particular toy he said:

“This looks far too complicated to be any fun.”

And he put the toy back and moved on to the next.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
