Sundays Are For Sebastian #272

Sebastian is my eleven-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

As I have mentioned many times in this spot, I quiz the boys on various topics often. Recently, they have started quizzing each other and on one such occasion I overheard the following:

Nathan: “What country’s capital is Berlin?”

Sebastian, without the slightest hesitation: “Singapore.”

Clearly, I have more work to do.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Not to worry, he’s wearing the right football shirt, that’s much important!
