Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#188)

I am not on the road this week, but nonetheless, I decided to re-blog a Sundays for Sebastian. Today’s comes from a little over four years ago when Sebastian was eight.

Sebastian is my eight-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

I overheard the boys joking around, testing out their “smack talk” and Nathan was trying to intimidate his younger brother. Immediately after Sebastian refused to acquiesce to his brother’s demands, Nathan puffed out his chest and offered forth a proclamation….

Nathan: “I am going to crush your hopes and dreams!”

Without hesitating, Sebastian responded confidently to his brother’s bellicose assertion….

Sebastian: “Ha! I don’t have any hopes and dreams! Joke’s on you!”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
