Sundays Are For Sebastian #364

Sebastian is our fifteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

We were packed into my tiny car, headed to Fort Worth for yet another basketball tournament and Nathan Googled some general trivia questions.

Nathan: “When was the ‘Black Tuesday’ Stock Market Crash?”

Sebastian: “Um, well, it was October, 1929, and it was on a Thursday.”

Me: “You can’t be serious. Thurdsday?”

Seba: “What?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
