Sundays Are For Sebastian #367

Sebastian is our fifteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

This past couple of weeks, the biggest story in college football has been the University of Michigan cheating scandal. At the center of the story is a now-former staffer at Michigan, Conor Stalions.

My wife and I were discussing some of the allegations that have been levied against the team.

Me: “While there will likely be more to come out, it certainly does not look good at this point for Michigan.”

My wife: “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck…”

Sebastian: “Then it’s a duck.”

Me: “Exactly.”

Seba: “Why are we talking about ducks?”

Me: “Huh?”

Seba: “I don’t really know what you are talking about, but I am pretty sure there are not any ducks involved. At all.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
