Sundays Are For Sebastian #384

Sebastian is our fifteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

On a random afternoon…

Me: “How many time zones are there in the world?”

Sebastian: “I have no idea. Eight?”

Me: “Think about it. How many time zones are in the world?”

Seba: “What? I have no idea.”

Me: “Think about it. Time Zones. World.”

Seba: “Yeah. I got nothin’.”

Me: “What does the world do?”

Seba: “Spin.”

Me: “How long does that take?”

Seba: “Oh! 24!”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
