Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#51)

We are on a little stay-cation in Austin this weekend, and as I usually do while traveling, I revisit a Sundays Are For Sebastian. This comes from nearly eleven years ago when Seba was five.

About a year ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Here is another one that comes from a little over a year ago, when he was still four:

Driving home from school, my wife asked Sebastian about his playmates at school and he mentioned a name that she did not recognize.

‘What does he look like?’, she asked.

Sebastian: “He has a blue shirt.”

So my other son chimed in to help: “Does he have white or brown skin?’

Sebastian: “White, I mean brown, I mean…. let’s just call it gray.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
