While this space is usually used to recount the utterances of our younger son, Sebastian, today the quip is from our older boy. Nathan now 21, who is 6’4″ (he claims 6’5″), a a recent college graduate, and one who finds his parents to be extremely un-cool. Nathan is in Cleveland, Ohio, about to start his master’s program in Aerospace Engineering.

In other words, he is a rocket scientist (almost).

He is living off-campus with a friend and they have been trying to cook since being a part of the meal plan is no longer an option. I fancy myself fairly adroit in the kitchen and I have tried many times to get Nathan to join me in the kitchen over the years to no avail….
