Like most of you, I imagine, over the last several days my inbox has been flooded with Black Friday deals. From bike bags to restaurant deals, I have received hundreds of Black Friday enticements. As you might expect, many of those emails have been wine-related and this year some of the deals are pretty darned good.
So in the spirit of giving, here are a few of those deals from producers I respect and wholeheartedly endorse (click on the graphic to go straight to the deal):
First up is this incredible deal from tercero wines in Santa Barbara County. Larry Schaffer, pretty much the one-man show at tercero, makes beautiful wines from mostly Rhône varieties (Marsanne, Rousanne, Viognier, Grenache (Blanc et Noir), Syrah, Cinsault, etc.) and his BF deal is pretty amazing: 50% off many older vintage wines!
Next up? Brooks Wines in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA of the Willamette Valley. I have written about the Brooks story a bunch, and it remains one of the more compelling histories in an industry laden with them. The savings are perhaps modest (5%) but the wines, from their prestigious “Black Label” collection, are not.
Sanford Winery, in the Santa Rita Hills AVA of the Central Coast, offers an excellent 20% off site-wide (checkout code; BLACKFRIDAY) which includes their stellar array of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as their tasty sparkling wines.
We head to the northern end of Dry Creek Valley next and Cast Wines, which is offering up a whopping 50% case orders on the following wines (mix and match, all prices pre-discount):
2020 Sparkling Blanc de Blancs, Cox Vineyard- Mendocino ($45)
2023 Chardonnay, Ghianda Rose Vineyard – Mendocino ($39)
2023 Zinfandel – Dry Creek Valley Blend ($42)
2021 Syrah, Broken Leg Vineyard – Anderson Valley ($59)
2021 Incantation Meritage Blend – Sonoma County ($72)
2017 Late Harvest Zinfandel – Dry Creek Valley ($50)
The only “catch”? It looks like you have to either call in or text your order (707-840-4143).

Treasury Wine Estates has (have?) many iconic brands in its (their?) lineup, including Beringer, Beaulieu Vineyards, DAOU, Stags’ Leap, and Sterling. Today, they are offering employee level discounts on many of their incredible wines (up to 50% off on cases). Use the code INSIDER to get the best deals!
Back up to the Willamette Valley and Left Coast Cellars who have, among many other tasty wines, one of the best White Pinot Noirs on the planet. But all of their wines are 30% off through December 1st! (No code needed.)
Last, but certainly not least, my friends at Tongue Dancer Wines in Healdsburg, while technically not aimed at “Black Friday”, have bundled together several wines. There are three “holiday bundles of joy” options, all of which come with a discount and free shipping!
