Really, really surprised by this one. I got some relatively good news today and decided to ‘celebrate’ (it was also a Monday, which is another great reason to open some champagne). I had meant to wait for my wife, but, well, she was late. So I opened it without her, that will learn her. One of the darker rosés I have had and the red fruit exploded out of the flute. Strawberry, raspberry and a touch of lemon. On the palate, tons of bubbles and a hint of sweetness. Great acidity and balance, I was really impressed with this one. Outstanding. 93 points.
