Wine Quiz #7: Answer

This week’s wine quiz provoked a fair amount of discussion and even a little consternation, which is always good! To refresh your memories, the quiz can be found HERE.

So, the answer (as I see it–which is all that really matters since it is my quiz) in ascending order:

4. Average Car Tire (on average about 35-40 psi or 2.4-2.75 BAR)
3. Mountain Bike Tire (here rider weight and terrain play a big role, but generally, these are slightly higher than car tires, about 40-50 psi or 2.75-3.5 BAR)
1. Champagne Bottle (60-90 psi or 4-6 BAR)
2. Road Bike Tire (95-120+ psi or 6.5-8+ BAR)

Feel free to complain….

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
