Merry Christmas!

I never really liked Christmas all that much until these knuckleheads came into my life. Now it is my favorite time of year. I am not remotely religious, but every day I get to spend with these guys is truly a blessing.

I hope that all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

    I totally agree–all my fondest Christmas memories are about darling things the children or grandchild have done (lest you think I have years and years of grandchild memories, no–I’m not THAT old, and she’s only 4); and all my wishes for the Christmas future, also are about sparkling-eyed, cheery-faced little ones.
