I am conducting another Wine Tasting following a Spinning class again this Friday and I discovered there were just a few cancellations, so a few bikes are available. It always seems that I struggle a bit with themes for these events since I am a bit constrained by a budget and the regulars have certain expectations. The theme this week for the Wine Tasting is ‘Red Blends’ and I have six different wines to go through, which we will likely taste blind (i.e., taste the wine without seeing the label or knowing what the specific wine is until later). Given my recent trip to Seattle, I decided to include a couple of Washington wines in the mix. I am familiar with the wineries, but have not had either of the wines so it should be interesting. I am also throwing a bit of a curve ball into the mix to see if anybody notices (or cares).
So if you find yourself in the Philly area tomorrow night with nothing to do, drop me an email and I will reserve a spot for you (if they are still available!).
Cheers!

Sounds like fun.

OK, 2nd attempt at this reply… Love l’Ecole 41 – their cabs and merlots have always been consistent and solid. Didn’t have the one you pictured, but imagine it’ll be good. Grad student who owns the house 2 doors down is a nephew of the owner. Says his uncle sends him wine and that he’d crack some open for us. Then the fool had to go do something stupid and get a job. In New Zealand.
