As some of you may already know, nominations for the 2013 WIne Blog Awards are now open. If you have a bit of time between now and Sunday, head over there and nominate your favorite wine blog. I was at the WBA last year (it is part of the Wine Blogger’s Conference), which seemed to be dominated by just a few blogs.
There are a ton of really good blogs out there, and the more that are nominated the better, so if you have a moment, head on over and nominate a blog (or two, or three).

Thanks for the nomination. I seriously do not think I’ve ever been nominated for this. I really don’t know a lot about it other than cursory reading about it via other blogs such as yours.

I have mixed feelings about the awards since hardly any of the winners were there to accept the awards. The awards “show” seemed to be more about entertainment than actually awarding good blogs. I guess my stance is: more attention paid will result in more significance given.
