Merry Christmas!

A quick note about our holiday: After reading my blog the other day (What You Should Get “me” for Christmas) my wife actually got me a bottle of wine for the first time in our 15 years together. Although she was not the intended audience for the post, well, I will just shut up now and wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Off to clean the house to prepare for the two and a half week visit by my wife’s parents!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
