Sundays Are For Sebastian—#41

Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

My wife: “Sebastian, I want you to try this yellow pepper, I really think you will like it.”

Sebastian (who does not want to disappoint his mother): “Mmmm, it’s good!” and then walks to the other room.

My wife looks and notices that he only took a small bite of the piece she cut for him, so she calls after him: “But you didn’t finish it!”

Sebastian screams from the other room: “It wasn’t THAT good!”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  3. While his experience is comical, I actually like the accompanying photo. I do not recall seeing the seemingly ‘always on’ Sebastian – conked out. 🙂
