Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
This one comes from a while ago, back when Sebastian was four and was still taking naps on a regular basis…
My four-year old abhors (but desperately still needs) taking naps. Every time we send him off to bed, there is a huge meltdown (which I point out to him that it only reinforces my resolve, but…).
Except today.
Sebastian: “Daddy, when we get back from the zoo, can I take a tiny nap?”
Me: “Why, are you tired?”
Sebastian: “No!”
Pause.
“I’m almost tired.”

I am glad you enjoy them! I worry every week that as he gets older, these little gems will become rare (and then I might have to actually create my own content!), but he keeps churning them out!
