Sundays are for Sebastian Revisited (#7)

As many of you know, I am off in Europe leading a few bike trips this month. As the weekends are quite busy, I have decided to revisit a few of my favorite Sundays Are For Sebastian while I am out on the road:

Today, I am spending my last day in Paris after a crazy day yesterday. Tomorrow, I hop on a plane back to the States, Fall adventure over. Don’t cry for me, though, it’s time to go back:

I was sitting on the couch when Sebastian came rushing in:
Seba: “Nathan has a happy leg!”
Me: “Huh?’
Seba: “Nathan has a big happy leg!!”
Me: “Ummmm. Well, ummmm. What do you mean exactly?”
All sorts of juvenile thoughts were racing through my head when Nathan hobbled in.
Me: “What happened?!?”
Nathan: “I hit my funny bone.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. Brilliant! My boy announced recently that his legs were no longer called legs but ‘jumpers’ (because they’re so ideal for jumping with of course).

Haha- I went there, too! But I knew it couldn’t possibly be what it sounded like 🙂
