An Update: Updated

Update #1: Monthly Wine Writing Challenge. After a few deadlines and a bit of cajoling, I have scoured the Inter Webs for entries that I may have missed. Here are all the entries I have found, please let me know if you do not appear on this list as I will be making the ballot for the vote and if you wrote and entry but do not make it on to the ballot, that would, well, stink:

Cheap Wine Curious

Dracaena Wines

The Drunken Cyclist

The Epicurious Texan

A Famished Foodie

FoodWineClick

Grapeful: the blog

JVB Uncorked

My Custard Pie

Rockin Red Blog

The Sybarite

Talk-a-Vino

Wayward Wine

The Winegetter

The Wine Raconteur

The Wine Snark

Update #2: I have received a few more participants for this year’s Secret Wino. You still have until Monday, October 20th to send me your name and address to be included.

Remember: Even if you participated last year, you need to send me your address and wine preferences (if any) AGAIN this year. Send it to jeff (at) thedrunkencyclist (dot) com

Last, since no one guessed last time, I have included another hint:

Hint #1: it is a Castle in a wine town in France.

Hint #2: It is best known for its Cabernet Franc.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
