I am rushing out the door to get my older son to his baseball game on time. Oh, and I better get him something to eat as well, right (help me out all the good parents out there). There is not much to announce this week, but since I think I am actually trying to avoid spending my entire day down at the baseball field, I thought I would hide up here and write a bit—do you think anyone will notice?

#1: Monthly Wine Writing Challenge 17 (#MWWC17): There is but one scant week (and a couple of days) to get your entries in for the Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (deadline: June 8th—more details HERE), but there have already been seven entries, which is a good start. Hopefully this will encourage the rest of you to make a bee line to your keyboard and get writing (at least that is what I keep telling myself–hopefully I will listen soon…). If you would like to check out the other entries for inspiration, they have all been posted on the MWWCBlog.

#2: Lodi. I am headed off to Lodi, California tomorrow (my flight leaves at 5:30. A.M.—which means that despite living only 20 minutes from the airport, I will be waking up before 4 a.m. Yikes!). I am going to try to keep up with posting while I am gone, but please understand if I never quite recover from the shock on Sunday morning.
