Sebastian is my seven-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people. I was digging through my notes and I found this one from a couple of years ago when Sebastian was five:

Every night we play “trois choses” where the boys tell me three things that happened to them during the day.

Nathan: “Today we watched a movie about Global Warming. It had Al Gore. Do you know who that is?”

Me; “Yeah, I am all over it. What was the name of the movie, do you remember?”

Nathan: “Ummmm, it was, ummmm….”

Me: “An Inconvenient Truth?”

Nathan: “Yes! That’s it! How did you know?!?”

Sebastian: “He was in fifth grade too, you know! [Pause] A loooong time agooooo….”
