Sundays Are For Sebastian #144

Sebastian is my seven-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

After a successful basketball season, Sebastian has become interested in watching the game on T.V.

When I told him that Philadelphia had a basketball team (the 76ers just finished the season as the worst team in the NBA–by far), he insisted that he be allowed to watch the game.

After ten minutes, he turned off the TV and started going upstairs.

Me: “Where are you going?”

Seba: “The game just started and they are already losing by ten points.”

Me: “So? You don’t want to keep watching.”

Seba: “No, it is too depressing. I would rather just go to bed.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
