Saturday Reminders—5/7/16

Once again it is raining here in Philadelphia on the weekend, but it looks like it should stop at some point, which will theoretically enable me to get out on my bike at some point today. Tomorrow, of course, is Mother’s Day and I, of course, have nothing planned yet for either my mother or the boys’ mom. I better get on that….

I do have a couple of reminders this week as well:

  • This week, I announced the new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC25). The deadline seems like it is a ways of (May 30th), but it will sneak up on us rather quickly. I will actually be in the south of France then, so you could make it easier on me by getting your submissions in early. (I know, but it was worth a try…). This month’s theme is TRAVEL  and all of the information can be found HERE.Travel
  • The date for my last Sip and Spin (unless there is another in June, of course), is set for May 20th, less than two weeks away. So if you have never been, and will be in Philly that Friday, give me a shout and I will try and squeeze you in!spinning

Have a great Saturday folks!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
