Sebastian is my seven-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
As with many of the Sundays Are For Sebastian, this episode involves my wife–the best mother a child could ask for…Happy Mother’s Day!
My wife was helping Sebastian with his science project. After a bit of time working with him, she became frustrated from the resistance Sebastian was exhibiting.
My wife: “You need to do more work here, you are not close do being done.”
Sebastian: “Why? That’s all the teacher said I needed to do!”
My wife: “You need to go beyond just the minimum that you need to do. You need to make it special.”
Seba: “Why?!?”
Starting to cry….
“I always do the minimum….”

Ha- love it! Sounds like some of my offspring 😉 Happy Mother’s Day to Tammy 🙂

Aww the poor kid. But it doesn’t hurt to push them here and again. Really. 🙂
