Sebastian is my seven-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
I was perusing my notes and I found this, from over three years ago….
Sebastian (4 years old), strolling confidently into the kitchen, proclaimed to his mother: “I know everything.”
My wife: “OK, what is 8 + 2?”
Seba: “10.”
Tam: “6 + 3?”
Seba: “9.”
Tam: “And 7 – 2?”
Seba, without pausing: “8.”
With that he confidently left the room.
I know a 55-year-old like that…

Interesting article–who knew? Although I will not share it with Seba–I will be sharing a hotel room with him for at least the next week and do not want to cause any nightmares!

Please inform Seb that there are wise adults in our world who are still math challenged. Yet they are still confident people. 🙂 All the best as your family ventures to Texit.

That confidence will take him very far. Just be sure to buy him a calculator before he goes.

I am not sure that he will ever know what a calculator is!
