Sabering With Household Items: The Spoon Episode

Happy Friday Everybody! I am up in South Lake Tahoe for the week and I have finally been able to get some riding in. It has been rather painful, though, as riding at altitude is no joke, particularly when I have not been on a bike in over a month.

Enough whining.

Today, I have a new video for you: Sabering a bottle of sparkling wine with a household serving spoon. Not much else to say as the video speaks for itself.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. Ha! After watching the previous sabering attempts, I was not anticipating such immediate success with the spoon.

  2. Umm, that is the funniest looking stapler I have ever seen… (read your last paragraph). LOL. But kudos for such a quick saber!
