Saturday Reminders—12/24/16

Not much to report here today. The boys want me to take them shopping for a present for their mother, honoring their life-long tradition of waiting until the last possible moment to do anything of consequence. The temperature will likely hit 80° here in Houston, which means I will be wearing shorts in anticipation of Santa’s arrival, which I can safely say is a first. I will also try to get some long overdue articles written (as I write that I think I understand where the boys have acquired their approach to deadlines).

I only have one reminder for you today:

  • The new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC30) was introduced this week, in case you missed it. There is still a bit of time left, but you should at least be thinking about your entry! The theme is below and all the details can be found HERE.

Off to do absolutely nothing! Have a Happy Saturday!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
