Sundays Are For Sebastian #172

Sebastian is my eight-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Seba:  “I am enthusiasm!”

Me:  “What is ‘enthusiasm’?”

Seba: “I have no idea.”

Me: “It means you’re happy or excited about something. What are you enthusiastic about?”

Seba: “Lunch!”

Me (more than a little disappointed at the basic nature of the response): “Are you enthusiastic about anything else?”

Seba: “Yes!  Snacks!”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Sounds about right for that age. When my youngest was that age, he told a parent that his greatest talent was drawing, but his next biggest was eating 😂 And that inflatable is cool- we used to love watching Wipeout and the big red balls.
