Sundays Are For Sebastian #179

Sebastian is my eight-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Sebastian: “Anyone want to play Twenty questions?”

Nathan: “Ok.”

Seba: “I go first!’

Nathan: “Ugh. Ok. But don’t make it too hard.”

Seba: “Is pitch-knife too hard?”

Me: “Huh?!?”

Seba: “‘Pitch-knife.’ Is that too hard?”

Nathan: “Do you mean ‘pitchfork’?”

Seba: “Yeah, that’s what I said. Is that too hard?”

Me: “It’s kinda hard but…”

Seba: “OK. I’m ready! Go!”

Me: “Is it alive?”

Seba: “No.”

Nathan: “Is it a pitchfork?”

Seba: “Nope.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
